Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana Extened From July 2020 to June 2021 :

Atal Beemit Vyankti Kalyan Yojana has been extend to enhance releif from 25% to 50 % of average daily earnings. Employee State Insurance Corporation has announced that now submitting claim on affidavit form is no required under this scheme. In a Statement the Ministry of labour and employment said that ESIC has extended Atal Beemit Vyakti Yojana from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 to enhance the relief for beneficiaries. The Corporation also has also decided to enhance the relief from 25% to 50% of the daily earnings. The Scheme has been extended to provide relief to those workers who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19 pandemic situation. They also relaxed the eligibility conditions from March 24,2020 to December 31,2020.

Most of the Beneficiaries were facing problem in submitting claim on Affidavit form thats why ESIC has to extend the Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana. Under the scheme, Now those beneficiaries who have submitted their claims and scanned copies of their adhaar and their bank details online, they don't need to file their claims via Affidavit form.

Those Benefiaciaries who have not submitted their claims online, they can submit the print out of the claim after signing the required document. If the scanned document are not uploaded online while filing the claim then they can submit all the signed document with required documents. No affidavit form will be require to file the claim.

The Yojana was started in 2018. The Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana started for providing a fraction of daily wages as a relief payment for 90 days.
