Bihar Elections 2020 : NDA government once again in Bihar
The Bihar Legislative Assembly election results remained a thrill till late Tuesday. If the Grand Alliance was ahead in the morning, after a few hours, the NDA government took the lead. After that, there was a fierce competition between the two parties. Finally, the nightly results and trends NDA surpassed the majority data. With this result, the way for NDA to form a government in Bihar was cleared.
Late night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President Jap Nadda tweeted and congratulated Nanda for victory. Leaders of Grand Alliance reach Election Commission at 9:30 pm to accuse Sarkar of delaying voting. He also demanded a re-vote on some seats.
There was only a few seats between the Grand Alliance and NDA. NDA was leading in more than 2 seats i.e. 124 seats and Great Alliance was leading in 111 seats. At the same time, RJD has emerged as the largest party with 77 seats in this election. In 2015, it still has a loss of 3 seats, the BJP has emerged as the second largest party with 73 seats.
BJP Advantages in these Elections
BJP seems to be benefiting in a big way from 2015 in the elections. On the other hand, JDU and Congress parties are seen to be the biggest losers. This election had shocking results. In which Asaduddin Owaisi's party Aimim's result was shocking. This party won 5 seats while Lok Janshakti Party also won 1 seat.
Nitish Kumar Will be crowned for the seventh time
In 2000, Nitish became the Chief Minister for the first time with the support of the BJP.
In 2005 and 2010, he took over as the chief minister.
In 2014, once Jeenat Ram Manjhi was removed from power then he came to power.
In 2015, with the Great Alliance of RJD and Congress he took over.
In 2017, Separated from RJD and Congress and formed government with BJP.
