Firecrackers Will ban in Karnataka on Diwali festival : CM BS Yediyurappa
On Friday, The Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. BS Yediyurappa said that Due to prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation the firecrackers will be banned in Karnataka during this Diwali festival. The Government will be issuing the order soon to ban the firecrackers to prevent people from Covid-19.
He Said that they have discussed on the topic and they are taking this decision that firecrackers will ban during Diwali. Their Government will be issuing an order for this soon. He added that due to Covid-19 pandemic situation the firecrackers are being banning in Karnataka during Diwali festival.
Few States of North India such as Rajasthan, Odisha and Delhi have already decided to ban firecrackers during Diwali due to prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation and air pollution
On Thursday, The Health Minister of Karnataka Mr. K Sudhakar said that these Firecrackers may badly impact on those person who have been infected by Covid-19 virus. These firecrackers may harm themselves. To prevent people , experts have advised to control the use of these firecrackers on Diwali festival.
He also said that State Government will announce final decision after consulting with officials of Health and Family Welfare Department.
Many Manufacturers of Firecrackers may oppose to this Decision of Government because they already have already manufactured firecrackers in huge quantity for this Diwali Festival.
