Haridwar Kumbh 2021 : All devotees will be able to bathe in Kumbh Mela only after Thermal Screening and Antigen Test
During the Kumbh Mela to be held in Haridwar, devotees coming for Ganga bath will be given thermal screening and public test at the state border itself. Keeping in mind the severity of corona virus, the government will try its best that only after testing the corona test of all the devotees, they should be allowed to take a bath in the Ganga.
Government can also take help of saints and ashrams to spread public awareness about corona infection. On Monday, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat gave strict instructions regarding the arrangements for the upcoming Kumbh Mela. He discussed in detail with officials on health security. He also said that all government departments should work with coordination to provide Kumbh Snan facilities to all devotees safely.
Number of Devotees will also be controlled
Chief Minister said that talks will be held with other states to control the number of devotees coming for Kumbh bath. Instructing DGP will have to prepare a plan for crowd control etc. , he said that to arrange medical facilities at all entry points of the state.
Action plans will also be prepared
Secretary Healthy Amit Negi directed the DM of Haridwar to prepare a detailed action plan. In addition, he also said that funds will be arranged for all these arrangements. DGP Ashok Kumar said that an action plan for security arrangements, crowd management etc. related to the upcoming Kumbh Mela is being prepared.
