WhatsApp Updates : WhatsApp is rolling out Voice and Video calling for WhatsApp Web

WhatsApp is going  to roll out Voice and Video calling features for its desktop Application WhatsApp Web. Facebook Owned instant messaging service  WhatsApp said on Thursday. To provide relief to WhatsApp users so that they can do Voice and Video calls to their contacts through WhatsApp Web.  After the roll out of this feature, WhatsApp users will not have to depend on their phones for voice and video calling again and again.

For both landscape and portrait orientation, Video call will work seamlessly. Desktop users should set it to be always on top so that they will not loose their video chats in the tab or in the stack of Windows. 

For now Mac and Windows supports one to one voice and video calls in WhatsApp Web. The company said that they have begun testing this feature of group video calling and voice calling for WhatsApp Web. After success it will be implemented for WhatsApp Web.

There are millions of people who have to use Google Meat and Zoom app for video calling and voice calling on desktop to handle their clients. But after this feature comes in Whatsapp, they will be able to do voice and video calling on WhatsApp as well on Desktop App.

WhatsApp said that WhatsApp processes more than 100 billion messages per day on its platform and all the messages are in encrypted form. 

Facebook added opt-in biometric fingerprint, face or iris scan authentication  in late January for WhatsApp users on Desktop Application. Last month, WhatsApp rolled out a new payment feature for WhatsApp Users. It started digital payment services on its platform for WhatsApp users.
