WhatsApp may launch a disappearing message feature: Unread messages or chats will be disappeared after seven days:

A new feature will be launched soon in which unread chats will be disappeared after seven days. The company also said that if user forward a disappearing message to another chat with disappearing message off then the Forworded message wouldn't be disappeared in that chat. This upcoming feature will work also for other media such as photos, videos, files etc. but there is condition that the media will be saved in smartphone only when auto download option should be enabled to save the media on Smartphone. 

Facebook has also been working on this feature for WhatsApp for some time but now it may be roll out soon. The Social networking has been created an FAQ for this upcoming disappearing features. In this FAQ detailed information has been given about this tool. 

Using this tool, User can turn themselves using disappearing messages on or off options for a single chats or in a group. Only the admin of the group can use this feature. WhatsApp has also explained the working of this tool and said that after this feature enabling new messages sent in the single chats  or in a group chats will be disappeared after seven days. 

If user don't use WhatsApp for seven days then the unread messages will be disappeared from the chat but user can preview of the disappeared messages via notification until user open WhatsApp. 

A website WABetaInfo has noted that the disappearing messages appeared on the beta version 2.19.275 of WhatsApp for Android platform. The disappearing tool will be rolled out on WhatsApp for WhatsApp web, Android, iOS and KaiOS platforms soon globally. The launching date is not clear yet.
